Aims of the project: To show the city of KL in a new perspective/dimension. Offer a new or unique experience. Attract and influence people to explore what the city has to offer Proposal: To exhibited the city of KL in a series of Time-lapse video/images. Targeted to an audience of mainly INTERNATIONAL audience / prospective or current Uni/College students who more likely to stay indoors This Video can be projected onto walls in public places or shown in Promotional events Considerations: Usually People who are new to the city or have not had the chance to experience the city life might only get to see cites like KL in the tourist promotional medium. This in my point of view is not all that accurate as some interesting and unique parts of the city are omitted. In designing this video the use of motion was given a high priority. With still images, one might not be able to see the city in its motion. In order to show this dimension, time-lapse photography was chosen. To further expand and offer a unique experience a few time-lapse videos are shot while in motion, ie. Walking in the streets or taking the Light Rail Transit into the city. I do believe that I have been able to achieve my aims and help show the city and its vibrancy. Even so there is always room for improvement and can be further developed to become even better.
